Adhar Verification of Address

 

1. Visit the Official UIDAI Website: Go to the official UIDAI website at https://uidai.gov.in/. This is the most reliable source for Aadhaar-related information and services.

2. Locate the "Update Your Address Online" Option: On the UIDAI website, look for the option that allows you to update your Aadhaar address online. This option may be labeled as "Update Aadhaar Details" or something similar.

3. Login with Aadhaar: You'll need to log in with your Aadhaar number and the OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your registered mobile number. This is for authentication purposes.

4. Select the Address Update Option: Once you're logged in, select the option to update your address. This will start the online address update process.

5. Enter the New Address Details: Enter the correct and complete new address details that you want to update on your Aadhaar card. Double-check the information for accuracy.

6. Upload Address Proof: You'll be asked to upload scanned copies of documents that serve as proof of your new address. Accepted documents usually include utility bills, bank statements, passport, voter ID, etc.

7. Review and Submit: Review all the information you've entered, including the uploaded documents. Make sure everything is accurate. If it is, submit the update request.

8. Note the Update Request Number (URN): After submitting the update request, you'll receive a confirmation with an Update Request Number (URN). This number is important for tracking the status of your update.

9. Verification and Approval: The UIDAI will verify the address update request. This process may take some time. You can track the status of your update using the URN.

10. Download Updated e-Aadhaar: Once the update is approved, you can download the updated Aadhaar card (e-Aadhaar) from the UIDAI website.
